Ed started bringing the grapple with him for larger square bale deliveries. Sometimes the customer's tractor doesn't want to let go of the implement already attached.
If we cannot get into the field until late November or in this case early December we normally make any hay we cut into large round bales. However, hay is in such shortage in this area that we had to go ahead and bale squares; horses need some kind of hay even if it isn't perfect. We're trying to help our loyal customers get through a challenging winter season.
We put two chairs on the porch so we could sit outside and enjoy the breeze. As usual, a cat thinks they're quite comfortable as well and we find Chigger sitting in them more often than we get to sit in them.
